About Kristin Wyatt, M.A., MFTI, IMF 53774

Kristin received her master's degree in counseling psychology from John F.Kennedy University and has over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in various settings.. She received her B.A. in social work from Syracuse University and spent hersenior year as an intern counseling inner city elementary school students.  

Background

While a graduate student, she worked full time at Eastfield Ming Quong Child & Family Services offering basic support for children with server mental health issues and their families. In addition to an interest in working with issues such as depression, self-esteem, addiction and anxiety, Kristin's passion is in her work with individuals suffering with trichotillomania, something very personal to Kristin as she has suffered with this disorder in the past.  

Her  psychotherapeutic approach derives from several psychodynamic theories in which she incorporates her warm personality and collaborative style.
